Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider. We store this to identify your account.

We also store your ingredient preferences (loved and hated ingredients), dietary restrictions, skill level, and any recipes generated in your sessions. This data is the entire point of the service — we use it to generate personalized recipes.

How we use your data

Your profile data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate recipe recommendations. It is not used to train AI models. We use Stripe to process subscription payments — your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.

Third-party services

• Google / GitHub OAuth — sign-in only; governed by their respective privacy policies
• Anthropic (Claude) — receives your flavor profile to generate recipes; subject to Anthropic's privacy policy
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Unsplash — ingredient and recipe photos; photos are attributed per Unsplash guidelines
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
